Pay a visit to Curaçao’s highest peak:
The Christoffelberg. At the top of this mountain you will have a perfect 360° view of the whole island. Ascend these 372 meters (1,220′)during the day or ask for a guided trip beneath the starry skies.
Visit “Marshe di Barber” (market at Barber) on a Sunday Morning.
Even though it’s officially during breakfast hours, (7-11 am), you better come with an appetite, because hearty meals are served from different stands at these hours. On the menu you will find local dishes like: stewed cod with funchi (polenta), bread with blood sausage, iguana soup and goat stew. Be on time: food is sure to run out!
Night Dives
For the more adventurous amongst you we recommend a night dive instead of a regular day dive. The adrenaline rush isn’t the only noticeable difference, you will also encounter many reef animals that are normally dormant during the day. In addition to flashlights, the local dive guide from Oceano Diving will bring a special uv light so you can experience your own underwater disco party as the corals light up and emit different shades of fluorescent light; a truly magical experience!
